Terms of Use
Effective July 14, 2026
About this website
Use of trollyy.com is subject to these Terms. The website provides information about the Service and routes invite links to the mobile application.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Trollyy mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by the entity that makes Trollyy available ("we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account, continuing as a guest, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to data processing) to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
You represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to use the Service in your jurisdiction.
2. The Service
Trollyy helps you create and manage trollyys, track item prices and quantities, optionally apply VAT settings, mark items on sale, share trollyys with other users or groups, discover community sale listings in Explore, and store loyalty card images shared within groups.
Guest mode stores data locally on your device. Signed-in accounts sync data to our cloud infrastructure so you can access it across sessions and devices, subject to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
The free Service may display third-party advertisements (including through Google AdMob). Ads may appear as banners, interstitial screens, or similar formats. Paid or subscription features, if offered, may reduce or remove ads as described in the app.
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
3. Accounts and Security
To create an account you must provide a valid email address and password (or use another sign-in method we support). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use of your account where you failed to safeguard your credentials.
You may sign out at any time. Deleting the app from a device in guest mode may permanently remove locally stored guest data unless you have backed it up elsewhere.
4. Guest Mode
Guest mode lets you use core trollyy features without an account. Guest data is stored on your device and is not synced to our servers.
If you later create an account, you may be offered the option to import guest trollyys into your account. Import behavior is described in the app at the time you sign up or sign in.
Guest mode does not include all features (for example, Explore and cloud sync require a signed-in account).
5. Your Content and License
"User Content" means information you submit or generate through the Service, including trollyy names, item names, prices, notes, store names, profile details, photos, group names, shared loyalty card images, and sale-related metadata.
You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute it solely as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service and to provide features you request (such as sharing a trollyy with a group or publishing a sale listing to Explore when you take that action).
You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit User Content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.
6. Sharing, Groups, and Explore
When you share a trollyy, join a group, or upload content to a group, other members you authorize may be able to view, edit, or delete that content according to in-app permissions and our database rules.
Explore surfaces community sale listings contributed by signed-in users. By marking items on sale and confirming store information, you understand that aggregated sale data (such as item name, price range, store name, and location coordinates when provided) may become visible to other signed-in users for a limited time as described in the app.
If your profile is set to public, your username, display name, and avatar may appear alongside content you contribute to Explore or on your public profile page. You can change profile visibility in Settings.
You are solely responsible for what you share. Do not share trollyys or loyalty card images containing payment card numbers, government IDs, passwords, or other highly sensitive personal data.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes; (b) harass, threaten, or impersonate others; (c) upload malware or attempt to disrupt or probe the Service; (d) scrape or bulk-harvest data except through interfaces we provide; (e) post false, misleading, or spam sale listings; (f) infringe intellectual property or privacy rights; or (g) circumvent access controls or rate limits.
We may investigate violations and remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.
You can report Explore listings or profiles and block other users in the app. Reports help us review User Content that may violate these Terms.
8. Location and Device Permissions
Certain features request device permissions, such as location (to suggest a store name when you mark an item on sale) or photo library access (for profile or loyalty card images). You may deny permissions; related features may not work.
Location is used in the foreground when you invoke those features, not for continuous background tracking unless we clearly disclose otherwise in the app.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party infrastructure (including authentication, database, file storage, and advertising providers such as Google AdMob). Your use of those components may be subject to their terms and policies.
Sale prices, store names, and community listings are provided by users. We do not warrant the accuracy, availability, or legality of third-party stores, advertisers, or user-submitted deals.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, branding, and software (excluding your User Content), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or logos without permission.
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, contact us with sufficient detail to identify the work and the allegedly infringing material.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not guarantee that sale information in Explore is current, that totals including VAT are correct for your tax situation, or that shared group data will always remain available.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (USD $50), IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including licenses granted to us for content already shared, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" and make the updated Terms available in the app. Material changes may also be highlighted in the app or by other reasonable means.
Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of the Service is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
Before filing a formal dispute, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the matter informally. Where permitted, you and we agree that disputes will be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction, unless applicable law grants you the right to bring claims in your home country.
17. Contact
Questions about these Terms may be directed to the support contact published in the app store listing for Trollyy or through any in-app support channel we provide.
